Sloshed and Sending: Drunk 3:00AM Texting

You know the drill - it’s 3 AM, you’re hammered, and you can’t resist the urge to text your ex, your boss, or even your mom. We’ve all been there. But fear not, my friends, for I have mastered the art of drunk texting and I’m here to guide you through the process.

First things first, let’s talk about the types of drunk texts. There’s the “I miss you” text, the “you up?” text, the “I love you” text, and the infamous “booty call” text. All are dangerous in their own right, but with my expertise, you can navigate through these treacherous waters.

Now, let’s break down the dos and don’ts of drunk texting. Do text your friends to let them know how much you love them. Don’t text your ex, even if they were “the one who got away”. Do text your crush to express your feelings. Don’t text your boss to let them know how much you hate your job. You get the picture.

But let’s be real, sometimes the drunk texts just can’t be avoided. So, here’s what you do: first, type out the text, but DO NOT SEND IT. Wait a few minutes and then read it again. If it still seems like a good idea, wait a few more minutes and read it one more time. If it still seems like a good idea, then, and only then, hit send.

But what if you wake up the next morning and regret sending that text? Well, my friends, that’s where damage control comes in. You have two options: own up to it or deny, deny, deny. If you choose to own up to it, just be honest and apologize. If you choose to deny it, just pretend like you have no idea what they’re talking about. But be warned, this could lead to some awkward encounters in the future.

In conclusion, drunk texting is a risky game, but with a little guidance, you can make it through unscathed. Remember, always text responsibly and if all else fails, blame it on the alcohol.
